went in to let the GW's out this AM but they beat me to it. Looks like Miri bit thru the metal wires on her food bowl door, crawled out and then HAD to open ReaRea's water bowl door from the outside (it is blocked from inside the cage):20: I bet those dang birds could break into Ft. Knox:52:

O geez the amount of times my birds have escaped. I was on the road with a friend that rescued a lot of cockatoos he was up to like 20 at the time he got this call. His brother called and said one f the goffins got out and let all the cockatoos out in the cockatoo room:x. The guy I was with almost dropped over lol, in the end it was fine and got taken care of, but he had to pad lock the cage of the goffin that let them out:p.

Wow!! Those beaks sure can bite through alot of things! It could have been worse, you could have woken up to half your walls and furniture destroyed:11::11:

Wow!
They're a real tag team together!

Wendy, they've already destroyed the walls in the dining room where I used to keep them as well as other places. They can really tear up a house if they want to.

Now I know why I became a guardian to an African Grey !!!!

Perhaps you should try handcuff them 0NLY JOKING GUYS

I LOVE THE LAST PIC OMG THAT IS CLASSICAL

One day Steven also climbed into Mishka's cage, I also took a pic
He threatened to disown me if I ever let anyone see it.

Between letting the zons out, Being able to break free themselves and locking up your son. Sounds like a movie to me :)

Lol that is great, I have a bunch of pictures of me in bird cages as sometimes to work with them I have to visit there home:). Thanks for sharing wharf and it seems like you got quite the riot house;)

That is too funny, but oh so true of the big kids with breaking outta the slammer & making a run for it. At least Miri didn't want to be on the lamb by herself! :red1:

The wall my macaw aviary definitely has the 'Mark of Roscoe' all over it. Thank goodness that wall will soon be torn out for more room for those big feathered kids. :D

Wharfrat I really like the design of that food door with a latch lock on it. My cage doors have only a sliding disk that you push aside to let the door swing out. Naturally my three delight in opening the door from the outside and throwing the contents of the fruit and veggie bowls onto the floor. I have resorted to adding an additional bungee cord in front of the door, but they have even learned how to release those. I read somewhere that Cockatoos in Austrailia actually disassemble the cell phone towers. I can believe it. Once they learn how to do anything you will never make them forget it.!!
