Smokey Steps Up All on his own

yeaaaaa he steped up for me twice today , the first time he wasn't sure kinda gave me a little bite then he said ouch then he steped up , the second time was around 8pm and he really acted like he was wanting out of his cage , his cage door is always open so I though I would try it again , he did perfect stepped right up this time he didn't say ouch lol , now if I could get him to move around his cage and try out all is his perches and toys that would be nice , he stays in one spot on his rope Boing and only plays with one toys maybe some day he will decided to check out his entire cage , I also ordered some new perches from FunTimeBirdy a new grooming perch and a nice wood perch I think those perches I bought when I bought the cage was to sand papery a little to ruff so they are being tossed when I get these new perches , all in all it was a good day for me and Smokey

This is great to read!! Keep up the good work! I was too reluctant to take in an older grey, but reading good stories like this is inspiring (although I'd be in the birdhouse if my wife came home to find a fourth!!!)
