Smell???? :(

So While I was out my partner brought home some new furniture and its still in boxes as we are planning on setting it up tomorrow. But the whole house has a REALLY Strong lacquer type smell? Maybe even paint? I don't know! I've opened up all the house but its getting dark and FREEZING so I'm going to have to close it up soon.. Will this be okay? I mean the birds are inside and seem totally fine, but I'm freaking out

Any chance of isolating the birds/boxes to a singular room and just having the windows open in the box room? Since I don't know what it is I don't want to tell you theyll be fine.

Can't leave the boxes outside I only have a balcony and sadly there is a big chance they'll get stolen. And the boxes are in a separate room, but my place is veryyyy small so the smell is still in every room lol. -_- I don't know what it is either, I'm guessing some kind of finish on the furniture, as its wooden. The birds seem fine though so I guess its ok? I just don't know.

Yeah I did before when I got home, had it all opened up. I have the heater on now because I almost froze over lol! But I'll air it out first thing in the morning too, I mean the smell will be there for a while I guess when I set up the new furniture :\

Yes, the smell will be there for a little while. I think I know what smell you're talking about, too. I don't think you'll have problems with your fids.

Its like a .. new furniture smell.. haha! I don't know how else to explain it! I think they will be okay too, they were fine all night
