I'm entertaining the idea of eliminating Jackie's big cage and letting him be free range during the day, and then possibly using a sleep cage at night.... What dimensions should a sleep cage be for an amazon?
Probably in the 16"x18"x18" high would work as a bare minimum....let him enter & turn around, but if you're going to put anything more than a sleep buddy in there, you'll need to adjust dimensions accordingly.....
I have a sleep cage coming soon for my 4 month old Sennie. Should be here on Monday. She has a nice cage in the living room along with her stand which she is on most of the day. The only problem is at night when she is trying go to sleep, it's just to busy for her (at least I think so) we live in an RV space is limited. So a sleep cage in the bedroom will give her more privacy and its a calmer area in our lil home.
