A documentary featuring the West Wings Free Flight Club and its members free flying their parrots. Ray Varella, co-founder of the group, presents his case for community aviaries in which people can learn to fly their parrots and provide them a better life using reinforcement techniques.

Interesting. I note that the the West Wings Freeflight Club sessions seemingly take place in a wide, open field, with few trees and tall structures. This is reassuring to watch, especially in light of the ongoing issue with B-man's Maggie. Surely makes for a healthier, less dependent relationship between bird and owner. But not something I think east-coast NYC parronts could readily do, given the environmental differences, for one.
