I tried them for the first time yesterday. I didn't really enjoy my walk, and the shoes may take a little getting used to...

My wife bought a pair...It took her about 2 weeks of wearing them around the house to get used to them.she now really loves them. Wears em all the time.

a lot of the nurses i work with swear by them. they are very popular at the hospital.

I'm thinking about switching from the Alegrias to the Sketchers. I LOVE my Alegrias, but they don't "go" with many things. You pretty much have to stick with solid colored scrubs when your shoes are covered in tattoos. Sorry, a bit off topic there. LOL

But from what I am told, and have experienced, ANY workout shoe like this takes time to adjust to. Also, only wear them if you will be moving. Long periods of standing in a shoe that intentionally throws you off balance will cause you MAJOR back pain!

The first walk was not good...the second was great! I laced them very tightly on the first wear, as they are more cumbersome than what I'm used to. I think the problem was that it didn't allow for proper foot movement. I laced looser on the second walk and found them very comfortable...

my dad tried the sketchers, he has the MBT's, the originals, but he likes his MBT's way better than the sketchers. I was reading my fitness mag and saw an article on these kinds of shoes... someone tried them for like, 6 weeks each I think? But she did not like the Reboks, she thought the sketchers were over priced, and thought the MBTs were a more proper fit. Though she said that for the avid walker, they are all great.
