Hi

We have adopted two 10 month old blue Indian Ringnecks as their owner passed away. They aren’t tame, we’re hoping to tame them.
Should we separate them to handle them?

Can anyone give us any tips as I don’t think they have been handled at all, to transfer them from cage to cage was quite traumatic they both lost their tails :-(

They seem happy together except they do bite and pick at each other. One is definitely the boss!

Any advice is greatly appreciated :)

Yes, separate! If they are already picking on each other you are likely looking at two females and they almost certainly will turn on and likely kill each other.

Also, here is an article on taming Ringnecks specifically.

Thank you.
My brother has suggested taking one. Would you recommend this type
Of separation or just separate cages.
