Sierra playing

Ahh yes I remember Ollie my sun conure at that age he would flop to his back much the same. Memories....

Cute!

Cytrynka definitely prefers staying upright, she does not like laying on her back. I'm curious if it's the matter of clipped vs fully flighted birds, where flighted birds have the instinct of "fly away in case of emergency"?..
Nevertheless, the video makes me smile :) Sierra is such a nice birb :orange:

Very cute! I've never had a baby conure before so have never had a conure do those playful behaviors. My conure though does lay on his back, if I place him in the palm of my hand. He then just grasps his feet together...

Clipped and unclipped chicks will do this, even macaw chicks!

That baby conure chirp! So cute!

I wish my fids still played on their back, they got over that after turning 1 year old. Little Cole when run full speed at a bump in a blanket to flip over on his back. Apollo would just constantly sleep on his back and Lily would sit on his face when they were young
