shy with strangers? lol

My conure gets all shy/bashful when strangers are in the room, are any of yours like that?

Georgie used to actually climb down the bars on the back of her cage and be between the wall and the cage, so they couldn't get near her. But that was only when they were new. She did accept new people as part of the family after she saw them a number of times, particularly if they were gently friendly but not pushy. (She bit if they were pushy!)

Gilbert isn't terribly shy. He doesn't let new people hold him but he will often come right to the front of his cage and stare at them, or just ignore them and go right on rolling around, playing.

Cookie isn't shy around strangers. She actually gets pretty talkative around them.

Charlie could care less about strangers as long as they don't try to bother him! He's pretty much anti-social unless someone spends time with him and earns his trust.

Jayde is the complete opposite however! I've never had a bird quite like her! She's an attention whore, through and through! She'll actually beg for attention from strangers while sitting on my shoulder! And if a stranger butters her up, talks to her, picks her up, etc, well, then I'm chopped liver! LOL
