Shower To Shower Each Day...

I posted pics of Savannah after her first shower awhile back. But never got a pic of her in the shower. Well here is a pic of her in the shower and one of her getting dried off. She has taken a few showers now. About once a week right now. The first time she was on the opposite end of the pole, not wanting to come close to the water stream. Now she leans into the stream a bit. Not completely under, but enough to hit her wing. I take handfuls of water in my hands and dribble it over her head. She likes that. I think it time she will enjoy it more and get into it on her own. At least that is the hope anyway. But the most important thing is she allows me to shower her and didn't make much of a fuss! :th_biggrin:

Soon she's going to be flapping around having a good time! Do you think she ever got showers, or even misted in her old home?

The towel pick is one of my favorites of her so far. I took it with my camera phone while she was perched on my other arm. I'm amazed I got one to turn out. LOL!

They say she was misted and she loved it. I find it hard to believe because when I do it, she tries to move to get out of the way of the stream. She will tolerate it, but tries to escape. So I'm questioning if they really ever did it.

Of course Quincy has always hated showers & misting. So I finally found a water dish big enough for him to take baths in. Hoping he wouldn't use his drinking water anymore. So he will use the new bowl for bathing and his water dish of course. There is no stopping him from using his water dish. *sigh*. Oh well, just needs changed right away so he has clean drinking water. I should be used to it by now! LOL!

Thank you! I showered her this morning and she had an audience. My sister and mom were visiting and got to see her in the shower and she did her cute towel pose for my sister to take a pic!
