I currently give my budgie dr harvey's parakeet blend (have had him for 13 months) because it's supposed to be one of the best blends, but i notice my budgie doesn't eat the black seeds which end up being a huge part of the mix... and i've heard a lot about golden feast and was wondering if you guys think i should switch to goldenfeast or keep on with dr harveys?

i'm looking on goldenfeasts website, but it's kinda confusing... which blend should i give him? some of them seem to be treats...but i think the "australian blend" and the "petite hookbill legume blend" are supposed to be the complete nutrition blends for parakeets - so which one should i get?

i'm leaning towards australian blend, because the petite hookbill legume blend seems to have a lot of big chunks like dr harveys that parakeets just don't eat :/ (according to my budgie and reviews from others i have seen)

thanks

Golden Feast, target regions and species as groups for their different blends. So, what is most common for your parrot and the region that they are found is what makes up the blend. You will still have some components of the blend for any number of reasons, your Parrots will not like or have any interest. What is left over can be provided to your local Wild Birds or trashed.

Our Amazon has several items that he will not touch and with great luck, we have a friend with a MAC that loves those items, so we donate!

I have always liked Golden Feast, because of the Regional /Species blending and that they use and process at Human Grade.
