My son's friend recieved a Cockateil for his 11th birthday. Once the quaranteen period was over he couldn't wait to introduce JoJo to our girls. Shadow and JoJo hit it off straight away.

Thanks Bobby. She's molting at the moment so looks a little moth eaten (her down is grey). Looking forward to her beautiful flight feathers to grow, they are an amazing blue

WOW thats amazing, great photos, Shadow looks so relaxed. I'm not sure Eddie would know what to do with himself if I put him next to Buddy.

Eddie is molting atm too.The Molt periods are kinda depressing, I always miss the brilliant rich colouring of the ekkies Makes it all worth it when they come back in full bloom Can't wait to see shadows flights.

Mel those pictures are amazing, they both look so relaxed with one a another.
The last picture is my favorite as well, looks like Shadow is keeping an eye over JoJo.

that's great that they get along like that! My Alexandrine Buddy (aka Baby, Aka Ms. Prissy Beak) is NOT friends with my gilfriend's Amazon Cody. She tolerates him, and isn't outight aggressive toward him, but he so DESPERATELY wants to be her friend that it's funny and a little sad too.

He's mostly a big jolly fatso (we're working on the weight issue) and every time they're together he tries to siddle up to her, all nonchalant-like and be her friend. He will talk at her and say "hello" and then take a step closer and say "hello" again and move a step closer... This is invariably met with silence and a disdainful stare, or occasionally a small hiss and/or a back turn. He keeps trying though. Poor fat green chicken, she's VERY sure she doesn't want to be his friend!
