September POTM Member's Choice Contest!!!

This month we are doing something a little different. This will be the first in a series of occasional deviations wherein you, the members, choose the theme for the month. (Thanks again for the suggestion, reeb!) And this month's theme comes to us courtesy of SassiBird: Group/Family Photos!

Our birds are more than pets. Most of us see them as family. As such, this month we will be looking for pics that celebrate them as a flock. As family.


*****


Please submit a photo of your parrots together in group shots. And remember, we are part of their group/flock/family as well. So single bird families are definitely NOT excluded.

No more than one entry per member, though you are free to post as many related "just for fun" photos as you'd like.

The winner will receive a Free One Year Premium Membership to Parrot Forums, and the winning photo will be displayed on the Home Page for the following month!

Submissions will be accepted from today, September 1st, through Thursday, September 27th. At the conclusion of the submission period, a 3 day poll will be held to determine the winner.

this is my non-parrot-savvy friend (not me), just on the mend from a flue-attack.
He came to say hello and needed a little rest... so the parrots decided it was time to get up close and personal and give their opinion.
Not a cat-scan, but a parrot-scam in action.
Here you see the 'experts' conferring with a rather nervous patient in the background.

But fortunately, I get a real FAMILY FEELING here on the good ol' Forums, so I chose this.

Here we see yours truly and the Rb, and his Uncle Al (Wrench13) and Cousin Salty, visiting via Skype on Salty's first birthday a couple of years ago.

What looks like a "bump" on Squeaky's head is actually a partially raised right wing!
