Senegal vs. conure

I got my baby bird, 12wk old pineapple conure ( green cheek ) such a sweet heart but soooo funny. He/she also loves to cuddle on me. Looking forward to this great adventure. Now the next hurdle is naming it....lol.

Best wishes and lots of luck with your baby. I love our Yellowed Sided Green Cheeked Conure, Connie. She's such a joy. I think you'll enjoy your GCC more than the Indian Ring neck, which I think would be too challenging for me.

I have both a sun conure and a senegal. I'm not sure if this is true for all conures but I know for a fact that sun conures are LOUD. However they make up for it by being super cuddly! They love interaction and are extremely playful. Senegals are much quieter and more laid back. They too like the attention. Both make great companions depending on what you are looking for.
