Senegal (Silent) Alarm!

Kippy has picked up a new morning routine, and its a cute one! When my fiance gets up he always uncovers her and moves her near the bed so she can see me until I decide to drag my butt out of bed. For the past three days Kippy has been climbing down from her perch, on to the bed, and working her way up to me. Sunday morning I woke up to a softly cheeping parrot on my chest! She is finally coming out of her shell, and is making sure that I know it!!

This little bird has been such a welcome edition to our lives. Gosh, we just adore her!

OH LORD! I could not even imagine that! Thankfully she seems to let her morning constitutional go the second the cover comes off of her cage!

Kippy sound adorable and I just love Senegals. I intend to have a Senegal as the next addition to my flock. Please be careful as I've heard of people rolling over onto their birds while sleeping. I'd hate to have that fate befall Kippy.
