Seabass brought his little baby Sennie over tonight and OMG is he/she adorable! I will refer to him as a boy until we get the DNA results back just to make life easier. He seems really healthy, he's very alert, took a full feeding of formula right away, clambered right up onto the lower baby perch in his brooder, was playing with foot toys and even ate some sprouts! All within the first couple hours of being here. He's currently curled up sleeping on my chest right now. He seemed a bit scared at first but he is super sweet and was just giving me baby kisses and would cry when I'd pull my head back where he couldn't reach me. So it's official, I am IN LOVE with sennies now(it's all your fault SeaBass! :09: ). I'm already talking to hubby about how we NEED a pair of sennies so we can have our own babies now. He's been here less than five hours and I'm already convinced we need our own lol. I'll be sending his DNA test out as soon as I get the kits in. I had originally ordered blood cards but I have changed my mind and I'm gonna do feathers, hoping to have the kits in by the end of the week so I can send it out first thing monday. Here are some pictures of the little cutie :)

Rest easy my friend! He just got his last feeding for the night and is all tucked in under his ducky wing(he sleeps with a stuffed duck). He got lots of cuddles too, I don't think he's quite used to all this attention!
:)

Soooooooo cute! It's great that this worked out. And I agree, Senegals are awesome :)

DNA results came in today, it's a boy! :D

Now if only I could settle on one name, I narrowed it down to Rico, Rocco, and Itchy what do you guys think?

Of the three, I think that I like Rico the most.

Naming is always so hard.

I still like that last picture of "bird in hand". Very cute. :)

Here are some updated pics of him, he is getting so big! He hasn't fledged yet though and is still taking formula every 5 hours. He's getting to be so playful and he is already learning step up. :) He really is a joy to have around, I often find myself ignoring the tv or computer and just watching him wrestle with his toys, it's much more entertaining(and way cuter) :09:
