Scooter the Splay-legged Lovebird

Some of you may remember Scooter, others won't since I'm not very active on this forum. For those who remember her I regret to inform you that she passed away last night
The little bird who wasn't expected to live past 3 months made it for 7 years. I tried to make her life as comfortable as possible.
My heart is broken, I can't stop the tears from coming.
Rest in peace my little Scooter bird ❤ I hope you're waiting for me when it's my turn to cross the bridge.

I am so sorry for your loss. She sounded like one very loved bird and her living so long is a testimony to that. She will always love you.

A very big hug from Salty and family. We know your feelings right now, but console yourself that you gave Scooter a vastly better life than she would have had in the wild. I made a donation to Cornell University Vet school, to be used exclusively for parrot related studies and programs, in Scooters name.
