I was at the parrot store visiting a Kakariki im getting and I guess his wings werent clipped enough because he was kind of flighty. I would pick him up and he would sometimes fly around or onto my head. I was sitting down with him on the chairs with my sister and I put my arm (with him on it) up. Next to me there was a bird cage with a Eclectus. I would sometimes try to pet the eclectus but she would try to bite me. So the kakariki (yet unamed) started flying around and flew on top of the cage with the Eclectus RIGHT next to her!! The eclectus started to launch at him with her beak. She started gaining on him jabbing her beak. I was scared that she would seriously hurt him (looked like kill him!) I rushed over to try to get the kakariki off. (she was so much smaller then the eclectus)
the only thing I could do was put my hand sort of shielding the Kakariki and the eclectus chomped down on my finger, for a really long time. I tried getting in off my finger but for a few seconds it wouldnt. It hurt SO bad. Then I managed to get the Kakariki away. When we left we noticed the Eclectus grab a toy and shake it up and down angrily looking like it was getting its anger out XD Later the lady came by and she noticed the kakariki flew in the air so she clipped him and said "you want to make sure she dosent fly up to Shelby's (the eclectus's) cage because she will bite him"
Later my finger was slightly bleeding. so I put on a (ironically angry birds) band-aid XD
Maybe she couldnt have hurt him that bad but it was still scary, I think I liked him clipped
Also, heres a random picture of the kakariki's at the store before mine got there. I dont know whats wrong with the one on the far rights beak but I think something happened to it. (poor thing)
