It was over 17 years ago.i found a little grey tabby..he was somewhat shaved...spray painted blue and it look as if someone tied fire crackers to his tail. The little girl next door caught this cat and put it in an air tight container...outside my window. Well if this little guy wasnt meowing ..i would have never looked.
I named him spazz...he bounced off my walls like a rubber ball....then...never left my side. He never bothered the birds.he never jumped on counters..he just loved being loved.
Last night a clot burst in his lungs...and i was forced to put him down..i haven't slept yet..otr eatened. Even laid with his stuffed moose...he use to carry around.i know i gave spazz a good life...but I wasn't finished..he was my big guy.

Oh Maria, I'm so sorry you have lost Spazz. What a beautiful face, a dear and faithful companion. He is so lucky you rescued him and gave him a wonderful life. It is never long enough....

I'm so very sorry for your loss.

I'm sorry. I love my kitties. Would be heartbroken to lose them.

I blew Spazz a big kiss just now.
Thanks for sharing him with us.
Yes, you gave him love as long as he lived and saw him into the next world. I only hope I can do that for the Rb.

I'm so very sorry, our furry ones are just as special as the feathered ones. Hoping you feel better soon.

Looks like spazz knew you were special, and I'm sure he knew he was loved. So very sorry for your loss.

You rescued him and gave him love. I am sorry for your loose.
As for making it easier I can only say concentrate on the living. It still hurts when I think of loosing my Plumas but I concentrate on the ones I still have.
I hope this helps.

I am so very sorry for your loss...we just lost my kitty who was 21 a couple of months ago, I so feel your pain. Thank goodness you gave Spazz such a wonderful life. You were such a blessing to him. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Maria, I am so sorry. I can see how close you were and how deeply heartbreaking it is. My sincere condolences to you.

I'm crying so much..I called out work.new job of 2 weeks...idc.life right now...sucks.i keep thinking..I hope I made his last few days great...I still can't eat....I know it'll get better..for now though..I just want to be sad...thanks for all the good thoughts.

You know, if we didn't love them so much, or weren't loved so much in return by them, it would be easier. I'm so glad it's not - I can't imagine missing out on all their love...

Rest in peace, little Spazz - you know how much you were loved.

Thank u everyone. My job was grest about it...lots of hugs.i thought i saw spazz last night..walking around...brings me comfort. And sissy hasnt left my side, she knows momma is sad.

I am so, so sorry for your loss. Our family had an orange tabby that lived to be 19, and I still feel as though he could have lived to be 50 and it would not have been long enough. Sleep softly, Spazz. His life could've ended that day in the air-tight container, but fate brought him to you when he needed it the most. I have no doubt he lived a long and happy life with you, and loved you so, so much. Think about all the wonderful times you shared, and it will get easier. Sending lots of hugs :)
