Sand Hill Crane

I thought it would be cool to post some of the wildlife pics I have taken over the years. granted some will be from wildlife parks they are all pics I have taken.
I will also give a little story along with the pics. if anyone would like to join in please do.
The Sand Hill Crane pics come from a wildlife drive just outside of Omaha,Nebraska the birds have always been a favorite for me so many will be from the bird world.

I posted a thread about this Pterodactyl sighting last year . A California Brown Pelican on the pier by the beach. It flew down and let us get close, then chased a little kid away.

I used to live right onnthe Rio Grande in New Mexico... the migrating brds were wonderful. Sandhill Cranes wereone of my favorites. Flocks of hundreds would be feeding and honking, fifty yards from our house.
My very faves were the year-round Roadrunners. Curious and bold. We fed them by hand.
