Roxy says 9 phrases now! :)

GCC are not known for being big talkers, but my yellow-sided GCC just keeps adding on phrases out of the blue. She now says the following:

-thank you
-hey
-knocks her beak 4 times then says "come here"
-makes "kiss" noise
-wing's up
-hey baby
-Roxy
-what'd you do?
-what are you doin? (trained her to say this when I leave the room instead of squawking)

Of course she doesn't say any of them on command, mainly after she gets covered at night or whenever she feels like it :09:

Impressive !

Mine does the kiss sounds and lightly knocks his beak on the cage when she wants my attention. Besides that she talks a lot to me. I am sure a lot of it are common noises or if there is such a thing, common GCC language. But again, that's a great job you have done.

That's good for a GCC. Cookie can say ten short words and seven sentences. Some are good talkers, but most can only say a few words. Your GCC is a good talker.
