Rough callus skin on main finger the fids step up on.. Anyone else experience this

Weird question, BUT, does anyone else suffer from this? ya know the finger your fids step up onto mostly, and beak around on..

Well..yes, but not from the birds. Like most people, I use my primary hand for most 'step ups' and I write and draw with that hand too. The callous is from being an artist, not a bird momma.

Mine is from the birds for sure, maybe I just have super sensitive skin I don't mind though. Wouldn't have it any other way!

I don't have any callouses, but I do have a lot of freckles on my right hand (bird hand). They seem to form whenever extra sharp talons pierce skin. You can totally see a pattern on the back of my hand where scaly toes go:20:
