Rosie, blue IRN
This little girl has been nippy all day. She is becoming a handful on some days. Other days she is sweet. She was in attack mode inside her cage, didn't want to come out. I left her alone tried again later. she came out on her own then was nippy again. She goes on her playgym and is nippy. I finally get her to step up without her trying to take my hand off and then when she is on my she tries biting me.
Any tips on how to keep her happy lol

How old is she? Have you thought about the possibility of IRN bluffing? Or any ghanges in her environment that she doesn't like? (Even those you may not be immediately aware of)

As Raixalotto said it could be the bluffing stage, or something has changed in your household. If you have gotten any new pets, or change of environment it might of changed things.
My mother used to have a ring neck parrot and the new kittens I got upset her and she became a very disagreeable bird!!! She was hand raised as well. If it is indeed the IRN bluffing stage this might help Indian Ringneck Bluffing | IndianRingneck.com .

I don't have and indian ring neck, but my crimson bellied conure has been the same way lately. I joke and call her the sour patch kid cause first she's sour then she's sweet. Some days she is all snuggles and scratches other days she's flying at my face and attacking my hands like its one of her toys. When she's in those sour moods I try three things. 1. Get the energy out in a positive way either by having her fly from room to room and get rewarded or play music so she can dance and sing ( can't bite me if she is too busy screaming along to music). 2. Giving her something to destroy or grab her attention (carrot tops for Penelope or a pine cone) 3. If she is still looking to be fresh I give her something really fun and rewarding to do in her cage for a little bit then I try and take her out a little later. Different species, but maybe something might work for your parrot!

WOW!

I just learned about bluffing... thank you, Rockatiel. There's always stuff to learn here. The Rickeybird went from juvenile sweetness to adult male bombast at about 2.5 years of age. Fortunately, no bluffing stage that I noticed.

BrAsMaAs... that little blue face is just precious! Good luck standing up to THAT. But seriously, good luck, and... congratulations on finding and accessing this great site.
