Rope perch

Lol, sometimes if I pet the new thing or rub it on my face, Pete accepts it quickly. But, sometimes he doesn't!

Aren't they silly?! Our birds, I mean. Something like a new perch, for us, would not be a big deal. For them, an INTRUDER or threat in some way. That's the wild side coming out in them.

I'm sure Pete will improve over time with accepting new things. Eventually he will figure out I've never given him something that is going to kill him. Rowdy and Merlin have no issues whatsoever with my giving them new things, but they have always had toys and such.
