Disappointed that a rope perch I bought two months ago is already separated from the plastic end piece that is studded for attaching to the cage. Is it wise to glue it back in? The concern would be that if it separates again there would be glue that Perjo could get to.

Is there bird safe glue?

Eco bond...you can find it on amazon..it's more of a calk then glue.

Elmers has been mentioned here and there. IMO use it little by little to ensure no overspill and then she wont be able to get to it, if it stays hidden.

I play the better safe than sorry path with anything ripping or tearing.

Agree! Another thought, if it was just a sloppy build and has wire running through it, drill the cap and run the wire through it. That is how I make mine!
