My Blue Crown, Juliette is on nest with 3-4 eggs. It's hard to see all the eggs but I have seen 3 and suspect there is a 4th. Praying they all hatch out and we can celebrate the hatching in a few weeks !

Congrats, must be exciting! I used to raise cockatiels back in the days and had so much fun with them. YAY! keep us posted.

What terrific, EXCITING news!!! Congrats on the expecting couple AND to you!!! You must be SO very excited. :D

Wendy, we are all "over the moon" excited! None of my children have experienced pet babies before, as we always adopt from shelters and they are spayed or neutered prior . Kya was the one to discover the pearls, as Juliette has been spending tons of time in the nest box over the last month, and I had given up peeking inside. Now I just pray they are fertile and hatch. It would be a let down to the boys, but I know so many things can go wrong before hatching.

This is great news ! I bet you are all busy, getting good toys, making sure the mommy and daddy is going fine. Really good news ! Have you ever had baby birds before ?

Very exciting!!!!! :)

birdlover11, I have raised baby birds as a teenager, as my parents raised pheasants and peacocks. I havent raised parrot babies, but my vet is working with me and will help every step of the way. She lives very close to me and she wants one of my babies, so they will get lots of TLC .

I will have my fingers AND toes crossed that everything will go smoothly. :D I can see your excitement in your posts...it truly shines through,...and I'm excited WITH you, and they're not even mine, lol.

Ahh I'm SO happy for you!!! :D:D:D You guys must be ecstatic!

Can I have one of the babies? ;) JK LOL.

Then you will have lots of advice. I envy you , while I'm here getting pooped on by mentally unstable budgies you are over there preparing for baby parrots ...

I will be looking for good homes for some " IF " they are successful. I hope the boys will be able to part with them after handfeeding. I am staying home while the family goes on vacation next week, because I dont want to leave them in the care of others who would only check on them once daily. What if we lost power, they would get cold, No I'm staying home to make sure all is well with the expectant family.

good luck to you! I love raising birds you should try candling the eggs to see the baby inside you should be able to see it after the egg is 5 days old its amazing to see!

How exciting!!!, I turn into a total child when my birds are expecting every time.

Anticipating little peeps with my fingers crossed!
