Oooooooh no, I hate to read this. I know how broken up you are about losing your family member. I wish I could tell you that the hurt will go away soon. But I can't. I'm still heart broken over losing my 14 year old black lab 8 months ago two days before Christmas. I'm sure you will eventually look back at all the fond memories that you two had just as I have begun to do with my Cookie.

I know this is not a real good time to say this. I was skeptical about going out and getting a new pet after Cookie passed away. But after almost a month of just laying around, hardly wanting to get out of the bed, my wife went on line and found Tiki a 11 month old Senegal for me. From the first day Tiki came into my life, I started wanting to get out of bed and it gave me a new purpose. She got her off of Craigslist, she was second hand bird and I think she needed me as much as I really needed her.

I know you will never be able to replace your beloved friend, but there are other birds, pets that are needing all the love that you have to give.

Yes it always is a heart breaker, even for us that do not know your bird. Did you have him for 25 years? We feel your loss with you and know that we send you hugs.

Sorry for your loss, I feel your pain and suffering, having experienced it previously 3 times. It is never easy, go through the motions, we are all here for you. Cherish all the good times you had together, knowing you gave him the best possible life. He is flying free now, pain free.

I am so sorry, Jackie was in my thoughts all week. I wish you could have had a better outcome, but I know you did all you could to save him.

I'm so sorry! Big hugs to you! I know it's terribly hard to lose a cherished pet and friend.

I'm so sorry! We know how much parrots mean to their families. They're never "just animals", they are our loved ones. We lost our 15 yo labx 2 weeks ago and we're all still reeling from it.

I am so sorry for your loss. :(

My heart fell my i saw your post, i wish i could have done more to help,i have to go love on my 40yr YN now.

He'll be flying high now with no pain. I know the heartache is horrible but you just have to be grateful for the time you did have together.

I'm so so sorry for your loss. xo

I'm so sorry to hear this. I haven't lost a parrot, but I've lost three "fur kids" - my dogs - in the last four years. It was so painful. My heart goes out to you.

:( Sorry very sad.

I am very sorry for your loss. Yellow Napes are very wonderful pets.
It is very hard to go through this I know.
I have lost 2 fur pets also that were very hard emotionally.

I am truly sorry for your loss. I lost my sun conure (sticks) awhile back and my heart still aches. Your family is in my thoughts.
