So when Rio's cage door is open he couldn't be bothered to go in his cage for anything but food or water which means he doesn't really play with his toys unless he has to be in his cage for whatever reason. So as a solution I bought a big clothing rack that I'm going to use to put a million toys on to occupy Rio all times of the day! (I also didn't want to over crowd his cage with all the toys I want to buy). So far I only have one toy on it but over the next few weeks I'm sure it will be filled with a bunch of other toys and perches! And he might not chew on all of my other belongings. It also has wheels on the bottom so I can roll it from room to room. :)
Here are some pictures of the stand I'll post more when it all finished!

Sounds like Rio needs to be more appreciative of what he's going to get.....

Just in case he doesn't like the new things you choose for him, I decided to cut my losses & bought a dozen large, inexpensive bath/beach towels to cover my furniture.....they were a lot cheaper than recovering the furniture & they even save me having to scrub poop off the furniture.....

Oh he defiantly needs to be lol. His two favorite things to chew on are my TV which is a big no no and I take him off as soon as I see him doing it. He also can't get enough of my blinds which is killing me because their are almost dead lol. So I'm going to have to get new blinds along with some curtains to protect my blinds lol. I figured that's the best solution I could find. I will try that towel trick on my coffee table though!
