In the summer, I will be traveling for 2 weeks. My gcc is well bonded to other family members and will be fine. What I am expecting is the "cold wing" when I return! Haha. I'm also expecting him to do the unexpected revenge poo.

These fids of ours are so smart and emotional! :green2:

Funny how I've never really experienced that, and I've had birds a long time :). Never conures though... gotta watch out for those conures LOL :p!

Ah yes, the where the he$% did you go!? chew out! Fun right? When you come home you get the long chewing out lecture they have, then you get the biting like why did you leave me??? Then they hold a grudge for about the day. Then the hugs and kisses come :) <3

Yes! Someone understands! He will chatter and chatter and then stand on the back of the cage top with his back turned to me. Then, act like he wants to come to me and when I try to pick him up, he just looks at me as if to say, "How dare you?"

Last year I left Buddy with his Grandparronts. His Grand Dad was so exited because Buddy let him rub his head for a second, lol. Cracks me up. When we got back after 3 days, Buddy wouldn't let me touch him, he tried to bite me, but gave up his anger after 20 minutes. He's such an easy light weight, hopeless lover, lol. All this after his Grandparronts made him his favorites, air popped popcorn, scrambled eggs, mac and cheese... OK just an FYI, Buddy is 25 yo and his previous owner and he would eat mac and cheese together so I do indulge him on occasion and I told my parents this might help. with winning him over It did as long as mac and cheese were available. He's a funnyh punk, lol.
