I'm rescuing a 12+? Yro military macaw. Her cage is missing bars (which we found out she pokes her head through for treats...how cute ) how can we fix this? We also need to attach the wheel because they have it supported with block of wood. We've always bought new cages so we don't know what to do but I'm sure we can fix it somehow until/if we need to buy her a new cage. It's of adequate size but down the road we will replace it just so she has more space. Please help! Thank you :) :green1:

Anyone???

I see 3 missing bars in the rounded top part on the front. Are those the only missing bars or are there more?
One thing you could do is cut a piece of clear plexi-glass to fit into that whole section.

It seems to be missing 4 in the top section. We haven't seen the cage in person yet so I'm just going based on the picture. We thought about the plexiglass, and it is an option we might try. I was hoping to learn more about possibly welding replacement bars on, how easily it can be done, cost, if it's a better option or not. Otherwise we will do the plexiglass.
