I have a 1.4 year old Sennie and she is quite the clown. The question I have though is she is developing some interesting colors on the top of her head. Right now right above where her beak is (the forehead?) is starting to get some reddish/purple feathers. I have never seen a sennie with this coloration before and the breeder I got her from has never seen it either. She eats roudybush and gets plenty of veggies so I doubt it is a vitamin deficiency.
Has any one ever seen this and if so is it some what normal? I will try to get a picture but getting her to hold still long enough is not as easy as one might think.
