Recall training with Cody :)

I was doing some recall training today with Cody and thought I'd post a video of it here. I think it was Beilana who was interested in green cheek recall training? Anyway, here is Cody doing his recall like a good boy. Oh, and excuse Dr. Oz on in the background talking about poop, lol! My mom watches it.

Edit: Oh, he's being fed from a plastic knife (the handle side, don't worry, lol) because he bites me if I feed him from my hand! I'm sure some of you will remember my thread "biting over valuables". I can't stop it, so this is my solution, lol. Hey, it works!

Boy am I impressed! That's absolutely fabulous; what a good bird he is. Approximately how long did it take him to learn this?

Thanks! And Dr. Oz is pretty interesting, some of the subjects are a little gross though, lol.

And it took him about a week to grasp the concept of flying to me, he's a pretty quick learner! What took much longer was getting distance as he recently (within the past 2 months) has gained his flight back after having been clipped, so confidence was a real big thing. It took him much longer for him to recall from a distance than it took him to grasp the initial recall concept. But he's got it down now, and he flies around like a pro!
