Quick question

Is it normal for birds to lie down? Nelson has always lay down on my chest and snuggled up for a nap which i never thought anything of but today he has lay down next to me on the couch... Im not hugely worried as he seems fine otherwise. Just wondering if its normal or if there is some other reason for this...

It doesnt look all that comfy... haha

He's still a youngster so that's not unusual for him wanting to lay down like that. As he mature he will perch more then laying.

My Grey is 6 and my Pionus 17 and they both still do that when cuddling on my chest.

And when sleeping in their huts, all of my Conures lay that way as well. Nothing to worry about.
