Queen Chicken The Pretty

Oh, I love that! Your fingers and her beak...

Yes, Mr. Rival would consider "rude rooster" to be a very generous label!

You're absolutely right. Good experience/training.

Listening to you calling your bird a pretty chicken makes me want to call mine a rude rooster. lol

My oldest son gives the birds "chicken" nicknames. It started with him jokingly threatening to turn Leo into a chicken nugget. He calls Charlotte chicken dinner and Goofy chicken patty. Cookie doesn't get a chicken name. Poor Cookie. Sometimes Charlotte also gets called the red headed wonder chicken or the one winged wonder chicken. Poor birds. We really do love them.

Now that you tell me that, I readily recall that Mr. Rival sometimes calls the Rickeybird a "fryer".

I am going to eat her! My mom is so rude! Sorry, maybe I should tell you what's been going on.

First, she took my cage outside to clean, which was fine, whatever. Then, when she brought it back in, she put the little fruity bird in it! The Mango I'm not allowed to chew on is in my cage, and I got stuck in my bye bye cage. Big bird in the little cage, little bird in the big cage. I think mom is getting confused, or senile, or something.

Then, after I spent all night in that cage, she was gone most of the next day. Like really? I'm stuck in a little cage, and all alone. Are you starting to see why I"m going to eat her? Then it gets worse!

When she finally got back home, she brought in this monstrous cage, and this thing in a little dark cage that kept talking to them. I think they were all conspiring against me. Mom put all my stuff in the bottom of the monster cage and put me in it too. I will admit, I do sort of like that, it is pretty big, much bigger than the cage the Mango I'm not allowed to chew on is in.

Then the talking thing came out. He is a huge bird! I think he's awfully good looking, but mom keeps saying he's too old for me, and that I'm not old enough to be looking at boys. She lets me have no fun.

She takes some of my time with her away and gives it to him. He's loud, and obnoxious, and rude. I have much better manners, but Mom still gives him some of my attention. He even bites her! She acts like it's okay that he bites her, even puts on special gloves that are just for him.

Just for fun, I bit her yesterday when she was picking me up from my stand, and I was told that I was a naughty bird and got put in a time out. He bites her, and he gets told no bite, but that it's okay and he doesn't get put in time out.

So I have decided I am going to eat her. Then she can't play with that big green bird anymore. I feel so neglected.

Hahahaha! Aw, poor Aria. It must all seem quite terribly askew to her, eh? Love the POV storytelling, btw. She's hilarious!

What a beautiful "chicken"! I just love the way she is "defending" her table lmbo! Doesn't look like she intends on inflicting too much pain...or leaving  :D

Oh, my! These pictures make me want an eclectus. They are so beautiful.

No! Beatrice! You already have a flock of high needs birds! No more birds!

Ugh. But they're so pretty!

LOL Beatrice!

Seriously, can't beat those colors!
Considering how beautiful she is, she really is pretty modest!

Modest: Currently! I'm going to sit back and wait for the updates a couple of years from now. :D

Love the Pretty Chicken updates.
That's not nice! I'm not looking forward to a couple of years from now. She is already sassy, I'm dreading what puberty and all those hormones bring.

Okay cause I'm not sure if I'm dreading puberty with her or our human daughter more. And they'll hit at about the same time. I definitely lack foresight.

I'll tell Queen Chicken the same think about King Rickeybird that I told her about Tiki. He's too old for her, and she's too young to be looking at boys.

ROTFL!!!!! Sorry but I'm there with Venus now! She's so hormonal, horny now this made me laugh! Thank you for sharing and when she hits puberty do not hesitate to ping me. I'm very sure and confident that I will be very experienced by that time!
