So I have two quakers, both originally said to be males, Blu is a DNA checked male and rio was assumed male by his previous owners. I've booked Rio in to be DNA checked , but I've been noticing Blu is courting rio recently, which isn't unusual in same sex bonded pairs, but more recently Blu has been climbing on top of rio in an attempt to mate with him(?). Has anyone else experience this? I've always kept male pairs and I've never seen any of my lovies/tiels or budgies to this

I have not kept same sex pairs of parrots BUT I’ve heard of same sex pairs bonding and being happy together. If they’re both ok with it then all is good!

Is it twice as much fun to have two Quakers, or do they ignore you and only pay attention to each other? Do they talk (in human) to each other? Quakers can talk so well that I bet that would be incredible.
