Two budgies hatched September 2020.
Hello everyone. We recently acquired a pair of young budgies from a breeder/aviary. They are eating, drinking, and having a lot of fun. For that I am grateful. Additionally, Clarence (smaller bird) is willing to step up onto a stick and come out for millet. George (bigger bird) is more reluctant to come out, so I am letting him take his time. I have been feeding a seed and dried veggie and fruit mix, but I'm starting to mix in pellets. I've already read some great posts on the forums and I'm looking forward to learning more.

Welcome to the Forum and congratulations on your Budgies. If you post any specific questions in the Budgie section it will increase your chances of getting answers. Glad to have you on board and Happy New Year.

congratulations and welcome!@
Offer fresh stuff too! Budgies love romaine , Swiss shard, snd other leafy greens. Mine chow on tons of veggies too

Welcome to you, Clarence, and George! Hope the new year brings abundant happiness as they acclimate to their new home. We have experienced budgie parronts, feel free to ask advice!

Thanks Laurasea. I have two stainless steel feeding cups, one of which I have started putting veggies and fruit in. So far no interest, but I'll put something in there daily and hope they get curious.

Thanks, all of you, for the welcome. I will post updates now and then.
