I know this topic has been discussed a few times but would like some input from any owners of portable propane heaters like the Mr. Buddy Heaters.
Last winter we had a freak Spring 12" snow storm here in New York that left us without power (and heat) for four days. I live in a one-floor modular and I closed off both ends of the house and my Conure and I huddled in our living room and kitchen area using the propane stove for heat. I do have (2) CO2 alarms and we were okay although the inside temps were 60*.
I wanted to purchase the larger Mr Buddy propane heater but obviously am concerned about the safety for my Conure. Has any members used this heater or any portable propane heaters? Do you feel they are safe enough?
