Allo. Australian parrot owner.
For yeeears ive been debating getting birds, but we also breed dogs. So that always poked at my decision, but, after a bird got in the house and only one dog seemed to give a damn, i decided to get two birds.
Тетя и толстой. Tetya and tolstoy. Two gorgeous peachface lovebirds. Named after a russian author and a poet. I got them a few days ago, and they are settling in nicely, heck, they are already eating millet from me when i put my hand in the cage!
So...yeah..i would have gotten one bird for the bonding. But my partner lives a fair way away and i stay at his for a few days. And i would feel terrible about leaving a bird alone for a few days (i live at home, my mom and sis are...ok with birds, not big on interacting though)
What else...im a lab geek, university student in biomedicine, sliiightly obsessed with russian culture, amateur standup comedian and black metal musician. Uh...yeah, thats all i can think of to say...peace out
