Hi all

Our two adult princess parrots had a few eggs, 4 were born so to say, two didn't make it but two did, one Yellow and one White, parents are green

Any how the White was walking round the bottom of the large bird aviary and doing its thing, these two young ones are less than three to four weeks old

Yellow is doing fine, flying round and been feed by mum, the white wont stand on his feet any longer but it was walking on the bottom of cage, but for the past few days I have been hand feeding it, 1st day wasn't so good but over the past two the feed as been real good, he/she is feeding really well, I had a vet visit and show him the bird, he seems to think it is calcium deficiency, I would like to know was causes this to happen

I hope your baby continues to improve! Did the vet recommend adding more calcium to the diet?
I'm bumping your thread in hopes one of our knowledgeable breeders can help.

yes he did 5ml per day ( Polyaid Plus ), feed I have been giving the White one is mash up weetbix with plum's strawberries fresh water and any thing with fruit, I even take it to work with me as I'm a IT PC repairer, people seem to love it when I'm doing Customer Service and I'm holding bird because I'm half way feeding it

he or she is a sleep in a Hard Drive bay
