wow i couldn't imagine a zon for $25,000 lol is it crossed with a hyacinth ?

Hi all I'm just curious on the prices of parrots in ur area/country

I'm living in dubai for all of you that don't know me already :) and i thought id share with u some prices of parrots here (as I'm always at the shop asking) lol

Amazons (Not hand tamed) = 5,000dhs ($1088)
Amazons (hand tamed) = 9-10,000 ($2450-$2700)
Congo African grey (hand tamed) 5,000 ($1088)
Umbrella cockatoo = 11,000 ($3000)
pink cockatoo (lol not sur elf name) = 11,000 ($3000)
Ringneck = 900dhs ($245)
Cockatiel = 500dhs ($136)

B&G Macaw (hand tamed) = 11,000 ($3000)
Green winged (little beaky) = 15,000 ($4000)
Scarlet Macaw (caged wouldn't let me get him out :( ) = 23,000 ($6200)


just wondered if these were expensive??? oh and these are prices from pet shops and breeders NOT random people lol i got Marley for 1600dhs ($430)!!!

i need to change one of these prices as I've been told by a friend that you can pick up wild ringneck parrots for free or hand tamed ones for as little as 100dhs ($27)

Wow:eek:! 25K zons?! We got a screaming deal on Kiwi (literally and figuratively:20:) Jokes aside, I could see some of those YNA blue and raspberry mutations going for that much. But your average, common amazon isn't going to cost much more than $1200-$1500 at the MOST.
