None yet. Undecided at the moment. Interested in Indian Ringnecks possibly.
Ok, I have to admit... being born on April Fool's Day makes me a prankster at heart.I've never played pranks that would hurt someone, just make you wonder "why is that like that?" I would really love to find a bird with a comical disposition that would fit into our family. Of course I love sweet birds too but, which birds are more known for their comical nature? Any help would be appreciated. Oh! and any stories or preferences you want to share that would be great! Thanks.

My amazon is a clown. Somethings he does is not so funny. He loves to push cups/bowls from the counter & then he squeals & laughs. He hangs upside down on his toys & makes them swing. He is quite a handful, he's my 1st bird, but maybe not for everyone. Amazons are moody little guys, needs alot of toys/attention to keep him happy.

Many conures and caiques are particularly "clownish." You know the kind...rolling around on the floor with a toy.

But as always, with intelligence comes individualism. Each bird is different. So any species of parrot is potentially the one you are looking for. It really depends on how they are socialized too. If a parrot is taught early on that it's fun to roll around on their back and play with toys or your fingers, it usually sticks.

I think all species can be comical....my hahns macaw is a hoot with his talking ability and make me laugh daily.....as for comical, my caique is crazy with some of the stuff he comes up with. Which ever species you decide on, please learn all you can first....birds are a huge commitment but well worth the time and energy.....

I truly think one of the most comical parrots is the goffin cockatoo. They are complete little nut balls. However just like any other cockatoo they can be screamers, but every bird can be noisy.

Just remember no matter what bird you get they need to pick you.
