Hello Everyone,
I got around to posting a few pics of my birds in my profile. I was wondering, if anyone has time. Check out my Parakeets. They were sold to me as a pair. The white one was supposed to be male and the blue a female. Now that I've had them for a couple months and I've been reading about them. I don't think they are what the guy told me they were. The white one has a light purple, maybe lavender cere. I'm guessing male like he was supposed to be. The blue ones cere is confusing me. It's a white color with a tiny blue line that circles or outlines the white. She was supposed to be female. I'm thinking male. They seem to get along well sometimes feeding eachother, (they are fighting right now). I put 2 nest boxes in their cage. No eggs yet. I've heard that sometimes depending on color mutations the color of the cere does not matter. My gut feeling is that I have 2 males. What do you guys think????
Thanks in advance,
JJ
