(possibly!) new to Jardines

We are potentially adding a 2 year old black wing Jardine to our flock. Any advice from Jardine owners? How best to introduce her to my sennie and gcc? What can I expect from this beautiful girl? Generally speaking of course...

There are several people who have Jardines so hopefully someone sees this. I'd imagine they're real similar in a lot of ways to your Senegal, but bigger.

The Black Winged subspecies are gorgeous, but we do not have those in the US!

Congrats on your addition! Our 3yo female Jardine is very social, curious, yet independent. Maybe it is the way we programmed her into our routine, but she benefits from some afternoon cage time for a nap if we are home the full day. She likes showers, or splashing in a large tray. She likes strangers and flies to sit on their shoulder when they visit. She is very sharp and likes target training. You are going to have lots of fun with her! She was cranky during her molt, but we were sensitive to her issues, yet still handled her for shorter periods to keep the bond....she just an awesome bird!
