Poop Hanging Like String From Vent

Does anyone have Too Poo occasionally hang like string from the vent? My almost 3 year old male, who I believe is starting to get hormonal, has on occasion had stringy poo. But everything looks good with it in general. He's doing everything normal like always. He has had this in the past when I take him to rescue events which from what I was told is just maybe stress and it goes away. He's fed a mixed diet of pellets, fruits, veggies, nuts and seeds. I have been giving him a couple pieces of Zupreem Natural Pellets as a treat for a few days now. I wonder if this could be the issue?

I can only contribute this: in all my years with the Rbird, that has happened maybe twice. I never figured out the cause, but apparently it was no big deal.
Hopefully somebody with experience with multiple birds will come along and reply.

Well he has been acting hormonal. He went up to his one toy and put his wing over and started panting and making out with it.

I've seen the poop piñata on dogs and cats, and it was always because they had eaten some kind of string, tinsel or dental floss. Maybe your bird has a rope or cloth thing that he chewed up some threads? Can you get hold of the poop after it comes off, or pick it off, and see if there is a string inside? Because that could be deadly.

In an effort to reduce the hormonal behaviour, load up on different toys especially foragers. If the original toy in enhancing this then try moving to another location in the cage or remove for a while.

Stringy poop - just keep a note of what has been eaten that day to see if there is a pattern?

He loves that toy so that makes sense. He's been getting his normal diet with some Zupreem Natural Pellets on top as a treat for about a week maybe.

I've had Willow for a year and a half, it's happened maybe 2x. Each time I just gently gave a pinch/wipe/pull with a tissue, came out, not pain or discomfort for her, so nothing I worried about. Kept an eye on her and nothing else abnormal.
