Plum head mutations

yes I'm with you.. Iv keep one of there babie to see what happens with it, I have google it but cant find anything.. My female is back in nest box now, so if like last time ill have egg in 3-4 weeks..
 
I didn't think you would find anything on google lol there is not much about the actual Plum head its self never mind different mutations or hybrids lol.
 
dna done by me... I'm just wanting to see babies full colours... Iv seen photo of very nice blue plum heads and yellow lutio..
 
some lovely bird.. I don't no much on how breeding mutation, ill will have to look into it
 
dam I just found my female dead in her nest box? Don't no if I should get a new female or sell my blue headed male?
 
Oh no! I'm sorry for your loss. Before adding another bird, I would try to figure out why the female died.
 
look like she just die in her sleep.. She not been attacked or show any sign... So I think ill just keep a look out for a 2-3 year old hen.. Very hard to find these bird near London...

I would definitely have a necropsy done to rule out any infectious diseases though~ birds are experts at hiding illnesses, so she may have been sick and was hiding it [emoji53]
 
Yep.. Could tell if she has illness..but iv keep one her babies and had is dna and it a female
But I now have a new female for my male
 
I got a new female and now she is on 4 egg, 3 are good
so will hopfully have few more babies
 
I understand alot more now.. I have spilt **** on order
