Wow that is a nice "dump" you left for your Mama Pips! I wish BB's was so...ummm...uniform
Hannah Pips looks/acts so darn happy,doesn't seem to be stressed or hurting and is dealing with his situation fantastically..Great to see him not being afraid to try and fly and eating his cockatiel "crack" ( thats what I call it coz BB has the same reaction to millet)

Hey everyone!
Thank you for all your suggestions last week. The vet and I are quite confident that the small amount of hardened old glue on his wings are not the cause of any of his current issues. He is starting to find his wings and learning to fly quite well, so I definitely do not want to clip his wings.

Pip is doing okay. I played phone hockey with the vet last week and never actually got around to speaking to him as I missed his call backs as I was at work. And the next day I felt Pip was doing much better.
Pips his usual self, bit shaky but happy, perky and has a great appetite. Here are a few videos from the past few days..

Hey everyone!

Pippy just died. On my chest at 6am this morning.

I can’t believe it. He was fine yesterday. I’m devastated.

Oh my gosh....there are no words....
You made his life so much brighter, Hannah..I just hope you know how much what you did mattered...so much to him-- you can just see it! You REALLY made him happy and even though it was short, I hope you know how much it made a difference to him..we all saw it. Please take some solace in that...if there is any to be found...again, can't imagine how much your are struggling right now.

SO very sorry...poor baby- he is well-loved by many!

Oh no Hannah, not our little hero?! I’m devastated for you too. If he had to go it was best he did so in your arms where he felt safe and loved but it’s just so unfair. I’m so sorry Hannah, you could not have done more for him and I know everyone will be sharing in your heartbreak today. I feel like I’ve lost one of my own!

Pip you sweet little man, we’re all going to miss you so much but thanks to your wonderful mum we got to know you and love you and we’ll never forget you.

Godspeed to the Rainbow Bridge precious boy, until we meet again.

At the very least, he got to spend his last days knowing he was loved and cared for, and he was with you, in his momma's loving arms. You did so much for him. Bless you my friend. From 2am he was making odd noises. 5am I got him out and put him on my chest, There he laid until he peacefully passed away at 6am.

I miss him so much already. His little Happy face..

I knew he wouldn’t live for too long, but with his good progress I hoped we’d at least have maybe a year together. But instead, just a few months.
