Sorry if these aren't parrots but can someone please identify these birds.

The first is a green cheek conure. The 2nd is two brown heaed parrots. Brown heads are in my top 3 for favorite birds.

It's a double-toothed barbet. Beautiful birds!

The link says 'bearded barbet', but it was mis-labeled. The bearded barbet is very closely related to the double-toothed barbet, causing some confusion.

I went and saw them and they definitely are beautiful birds.

Wow, you saw a lot of birds today! I see you purchased a pr of green cheeks. Was this a rescue or a breeder who had these birds. The look like they are in kennels at a shelter. Just wondering.

They were actually brought to a vets office (so they were kept in the cages in the back) that my aunt works at. The same owner actually brought in a Rock Pebbler a few weeks ago and they wanted the vet to put it to sleep because it was noisy . Luckily my aunt adopted that one.

I'm so glad to hear your aunt came to the rescue. I used to work at a vet hosp and we would often have ppl bring in a healthy animal to be euthanaised because they were too lazy to put in a little effort to deal with "behavioural issues". Fortunately like your aunt we were able to rehome most of them... often to the nurses. Many with a little work turned out to be fantastic well-adjusted members of the family
