True, but one of the reasons I stay is to help, if possible, for the ones that DO show up. Other reasons of course, take a look at how many threads are requests for help in one way or the other. Rival, I too would kick in, have offered in the past, in instances like this. Best outcome here would be a voluntary surrender.
