Please can anyone check my 2 months old gcc's dropping?

I took her home yesterday, her poop was fine till then. this was it. more precisely, this poop was from this morning.


but now her poop went that to this. I gave her formula/mini pellets and seed/apple/and again formula today.


maybe she's a bit stressed about new environments and I'm overreacting, or I don't know, I really hope this is not some bacterial infection or...

What I know is that I think I saw similar poop before. when my loving angel, Ggot-Ji, 6 years old gcc, got really sick. He didn't eat a whole day but his weight got increased. It was intestinal obstruction. I took him to the vet and he stayed with me 7 more days, but that was it.

I've been devastated for quite a while.

Still afraid but miss too much of the tiny warmth so much, I took Marie, my 2 months old gcc, yesterday. she's only just 2 months old. I literally just got her home. I want to take good care of her so so much. I gave her some antibiotics just now. MY MISTAKE IT'S PROBIOTICS. I'm just worrying sick.

Hello, welcome to forum. Sorry about the loss if your previous GCC.

Are you saying that the breeder sent you home with an unweaned baby? That's not good.

The dropping look okish, the urine part looks a little dark. The poop is the white urates, the brownish poop, then the clear urine part. If the liquid part is dark it can be dehydration, or a sign of illness. My bird when I first brought home had bright yellow liquid part and i was worried about liver function , but it was just dehydration.

Dud you visit an avain vet with your new bird, and told to start antibiotic, or are you just decided to give antibiotic that you had left from your other bird? Please don't do that if that's the case,. You can mess up gi Flora.

Two months is very young. Please don’t give antibiotics unless directed to do so by an avian vet, and if you haven’t taken your bird to the vet yet I recommend you do so ASAP for professional advice and support in weaning.

thanks guys! Her poop is fine now I think she was a bit dehydrated. It seemed like she didn't drink water..Certainly not from the water bowl I got for her...But she did got hydrated some by formula and other fruits and vegis, I guess?
