Playstands

SO I have only a "tree" type homemade stand for my birds right now, but barring anything weird, I would have a larger bird joining me soon. My cages are kept in a foyer area to a door we don't use so the birds can chit chat through cage bars through the day, but I want to get a bigger, nice playstand that all the birds can use in the living room. So I need something that will work for a GCC and little birds, like my tiel and budgie, but be big enough for either and ekkie or a BFA.

I was looking at this:

Anyone seen one in person or have one? Any other suggestions anyone can make? The local pet store options are dismal and I am thinking of going to a big one this weekend, but Amazon has better prices....

Thanks!

I have the larger version of this one for my BHP, Talli, and he loves it. I like that the feed dishes are up close to the top instead of lower on the stand, and it has plenty of room. Only thing is that the wooden parts to the ladder would probably be too large for the budgie to climb. The wood does screw on though so you could replace it with smaller dowels.

I am planning on adding the small one as well for my IRN, however, as it looks awesome as well, except for the dishes.

So I did go ahead and order the smaller one after measuring and considering. I got it set up today and both Phlox and Iris did try it out. I couldn't get either of them to stay on it very long, but baby steps!

Hopefully I'll get pictures soon. I didn't bother with the "seed guard", just yet. I think those mostly just prevent climbers from wandering, but since both Phlox and Iris are flighted (and I think I'm just going to leave it like that) It's sort of pointless.

No no...no larger bird. Just Iris. I started this thread pre going to meet Iris and the Ekkie who hated my guts. At the time, I was convinced I wanted the Ekkie. I was wrong! I'm still a bit in shock and awe at how much I adore this silly zon. I think I spent too much time reading about them and not enough time getting to know them. :)

Ahh okay I see... :)

A lot of threads I miss, and never see until days or weeks (or months later) lol!

I made quick little videos of the some of the fids trying out the playstand, by predictably only perching on the not-designated-as-perching parts of it. You know, because birds.

Also short proof that non parrot birds do indeed enjoy toys, as Spirit plays with the links a little. Also Iris really, really just wanting to be held but giving in to my poor filming skills.
